Dear customers !
I’m happy to announce the release of Helpdesk Pro version 6.6.0 . Below are details improvements in this release:
1. Added Helpdesk Pro - Custom Messages Plugin
The plugin allows you to add custom HTML messages which will be displayed at the right of ticket details page. It is possible to add multiple messages, each message can be assigned to all or selected categories. This could be useful if you want to display instructions for users/managers when they look at each ticket.
2. Support Joomla Mail Template Layout
If you enable Joomla Mail Template Layout for your site, you can set Use Joomla Mail Template Layout config option to Yes. By doing that, all emails sent from Helpdesk Pro will use that shared Joomla Mail Template Layout, make emails from look consistent (and beautiful) like other emails sent from your site. Look at guide.joomla.org/user-manual/mail-templa...ing-template-layouts if you want to figure out how to enable and use Mail Template Layout for your site
3. Improve Comment Editing
In earlier version, editing comments of support ticket is not possible if you enable Use HTML editor (to allow adding comments using Joomla WYSIWYG editor like Tiny MCE, JCE....) . From this release, editing comment is also possible even if you use HTML editor for adding comment on your site.
4. Some Technical Improvements
- Fully support for Child Templates while loading layout. Mean you can put your template overrides for Helpdesk Pro on Child template or Parent Template. When looking for template overrides, Helpdesk Pro will find from child template first, then parent template and finally, from the component itself.
- Update component code to use latest Joomla Toolbar API. That will help making the extension continue working well with future releases of Joomla (Joomla 7, Joomla
... easier.
- Improve custom fields API
