Hello everyone,I am currently using the Helpdesk Pro extension in Joomla – of course in its latest version.
There is a feature that allows me to display the ticket list (in the frontend).
To create the corresponding menu item, the menu item type "Extension" was selected in the backend when creating the menu, and then the sub-item "Ticketlist / Manage Tickets" was chosen.
The description of the menu item suggests that, depending on the configuration, all users can view submitted tickets. I'm not referring to admins here, but to regular users!Unfortunately, in the frontend, users can only see their own tickets.
I can't find the correct setting in the Helpdesk Pro configuration that would allow users to also view tickets submitted by other users.

Hi Michael

Unfortunately, user can only view tickets submitted by himself. User cannot view tickets submitted by other users

Okay, that's a bit unfortunate.
Thank you very much for the feedback...
The description suggests that it could be done that way... but currently, that's not the case.
Could you consider possibly adding this as a future feature, provided it wouldn't be unnecessarily complex to implement?

I do not understand why you need to allow someone to access to ticket created by other users ?

Is it just for viewing purpose? What if that user add comment/reply to a ticket created by someone else ? The requirement seems a bit strange to me
