Today, I'm happy to announce the release of Helpdesk Pro version 6.1.0 with the following nice improvements:
1. Added Modern Admin Dashboard
A new, beautiful, modern dashboard in implemented in this release. It allows you to quickly viewing statistic data (all the time or certain selected duration), access to latest updated tickets, tickets chart which shows total number of tickets each month for last 12 months... Hope you will love it and in case something could be improved, please give us your feedback
2. Added Backend Top Menu
A top menu is added to every page in backend. It allows you to access to manage pages in backend of Helpdesk Pro quick and easy without having to use the collapsed side bar menu provided by Joomla core
3. Improve Category Management
Allow you to easier selecting manage for each category instead of having to enter username of these managers in comma separated format like in the part
Please update your site to this latest version of Helpdesk Pro to use these improvements. Thanks for continue using our products and support our development.

You can ignore this post! I found the problem. Had to clear my cache and that fixed the problem.
Hi,
After updating the component on the admin side we can see all our recent tickets. On the frontend our tickets from the past two weeks aren't visible.
Is there a way to roll back this update so we can see our tickets on the front end again?

It seems that "Helpdeskpro Reply Via Email" plugin does not works with Gmails accounts any more. This is due to google discontinued the "less secure applications" login via imap protocol using username and password. Hence, last march Google force to use OAuth 2.0.
After a good research, I discovered that a workaround for this is to activate the 2 phase authentication, and then generate an "application password" ( myaccount.google.com/apppasswords ). After that, change the user password for the application password in the Helpdeskpro Reply Via Email plugin parameters. Doing so the plugin gets functional again.
But its only a matter of time until Google discontinue the application passwords, so, the question is, do you have in your development roadmap the implementation of OAuth 2.0?

Honestly, I could not implement that because the plugin of course not only working with Gmail
So I'm afraid of you will need to find a different setup instead of rely on Gmail in this case
