Today, I released Helpdesk Pro version 5.3.1which contains some improvements below :
1. Compatible with Joomla 5.0
Joomla 5 is planned to be released in the next few days. We did final testing and make sure Helpdesk Pro compatible with Joomla 5.0 native (without requiring backward compatible plugin)
2. Improve Pre-defined Replies Integration
The pre-defined replies feature is now also working even if you enable HTML editor for submitting tickets/ adding comments.
3. Allow Translating Menu Item Types
The menu item types (which are being displayed when you create menu item link to the extension) is hard coded to English language before. Now, if you want to translate it to make it easier for your customers, it is possible by translating language items in system language files.
Please upgrade your site to this latest version of Helpdesk Pro to have these small improvements and also to make sure the extension works well with Joomla 5 when you update to that Joomla releases in the future. Thanks for continue using our products and support our development.
Thank you. One issue we had is that Notification Emails are not working. We wanted to add a few emails that should receive notification for support tickets (comma separated) but we're receiving nothing. The customer is receiving email notification when creating a ticket so it's not an email issue. Also the notification email tooltips talks about "subscription", I think this might be a carry-over from Membership Pro perhaps?
Could be a problem with your own email. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to submit ticket form. I will try to check to see why it is not working and get it sorted
