Hello

A. No, it has it own custom fields feature. It does not use Joomla core custom fields

2. No, we do not support tags. I'm unsure how tags could be used to support tickets

3. Email Cloak is integrated (That Joomla plugin should work with every extensions to protect email address)

Hi Tuan,
many thanks for your answer.

A - Pity, a great lack from my point of view (and a waste of energy on your part, the developers)

B - In first of all a "better integrated way" to assign "Labels" or "Multi Categories" for example...

C - As far as I know, If HelpDesk is calling the right Email Cloak plugin Class during when HelpDesk are shown the  emails in the frontend

Hello

A. Yes, it's right. But Helpdesk Pro was developed before Custom Fields was added to Joomla from 3.7

B. It might. But for most of our customers, tags are not really needed

C. Yes. Just need to trigger content plugin where it is needed by called Joomla JHtml::_('content.prepare', $content) method.

To be honest, No, because from what I see, it is not needed for Helpdesk Pro to work

Tuan

Hi Tuan Pham Ngoc,
many thanks for your reply, very appreciated.
"... it is not needed for Helpdesk Pro to work..." = Sure, we are agree.

But, "Yes" to work better and most integrated with Joomla and all 3rd party Extensions we (your users) are running on our site.

To have a  Joomla Custom Fields feature  (instead of yours) and a  Joomla Tags feature  (instead of Labels) integrations would represent a leap forward, an obvious improvement with more functions, more custom fields and with less effort on your part, the developer, to maintain them, freeing up time for the core functions of HelpDesk Pro.

For us, for example, integration is one of the main factors in making our choices. We are making a choice on which software to aim for the Support Ticket for the next 3 years on our sites and we asked because we really like the "simplicity" of how HelpDesk Pro run, but the absence of these two integrations with Joomla is holding us back from taking the decision...

I see. For custom fields, Yes, it could be useful like that. But for tags, I don't see the need for using it with Helpdesk Pro

We will revisit it in and might use Joomla core custom fields feature in the future (maybe when we stop supporting for Joomla 3) but for the time being, we will still use our own custom fields implementation

Regards,

Tuan
