Can tickets be imported? was created by Zoe White
Hello,
There is a Ticket Export function within Helpdesk Pro but, is there any way of importing those tickets into a fresh install of Helpdesk Pro on a Joomla 4 site?
If that is not an option, could I use phpMyAdmin to accomplish this?
Many thanks in advance,

Hello Julian
No, we do not support import tickets. Where do you get tickets to import? If it is from old site which uses Helpdesk Pro to new site, then Yes, you can do that via database
Regards,
Tuan

Hello Tuan,
Ok, I will use phpMyAdmin to transfer the old tickets from a Joomla 3 site to a new Joomla 4 site.
Can you tell me the table(s) in the database holding the relevant data please?
Why am I doing this?
Basically, having stripped out the old Joomla 3 site ready for upgrading to Joomla 4, following the instructions, removing or disabling everything and I mean everything not Joomla necessary, the upgrade fails every time!
The site needed a complete revamp anyway, so now is a good time to start it again.
Cheers,
