Where can I change the wording in the Search box on Knoweldge Base?

Just a quickie but I can't find the location
The content for the search is too long for the box .  EG  "Have a question? Ask or e"  is all I see.
Where can I find code to reduce the characters?

Could you send us screenshot of that page? When you said about Knowledge Base, I think you are asking about our Helpdesk Pro extension but you post it into Joom Donation forum category, so I don't know what product from us you are using to give you the right answer

Very sorry - yes, its in HelpDesk Pro..

Image attached.  Text is too long for search box.  I just want to reduce the size of the text tp "Search ..."   but cant find the location of the text.

You can access to Helpdesk Pro -> Translation, find the language item HDP_ARTICLES_SEARCH_PLACEHOLDER and change it to meet your need

Or if it is needed, you can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account and link to that page. We can add small css to make the textbox longer to fit the current text
