Category mulitlangual?

Hi,

I just bought your component HElpdesk pro.
I wanted to create the category: Pre-Sale & support. My website is mulitlangual. So I add the values:
HDP_CATEGORY_PRESALE="Pre-Sale" in en-GB.com_helpdeskpro.ini
But in front page I still see HDP_CATEGORY_PRESALE instead of "Presale".

My question is: Is it possible to make mmultiangual the values of dropdown list categories?

Hi

At the moment, the extension doesn't support Joomla core multilingual feature. I will try to add support for it in the next one or two weeks. For now, please try to get this file, unzip it and upload to components/com_helpdeskpro/views/ticket folder of your site. After that, check it again and it should work.

It works for my both issues (posted in 2 different topics).

The problem now is these strings are not translated in notification mails.
In the subject of notification mail I get: [HDP_CATEGORY_PRESALE - #4](New) test ticket

So I guess the modification you did in view.tml.php need to be done also in another php file?

Can you help me please.

This kind of modification could not be the long terms solution. There will be many other places we will have to customize code to make it works with your solution.

I would suggest you to wait for me for one week so that I can implement a true multilingual into Helpdesk Pro and you won't have to customize code like this.

Hi

I sent the updated version to your email. Please get it and upgrade it to your site. Now when you edit a category, you will see a new tab called Translation which allows you to translate categories into different languages.

The same for custom fields, ticket status, priorities, email messages...

Please check it and let me know the result !
