Quick View on list page

Hi JoomDonation Team,I’d like to suggest adding a “Quick View” feature to EShop product listings.This is a common feature across many modern eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento. It allows users to preview key product information in a modal/popup directly from category or listing pages without navigating to the full product page.

Suggested functionality:

• “Quick View” button on product listings
• Modal popup displaying:
  • Product images (gallery if available)
  • Price
  • Short description
  • Product options/variations
  • Add-to-cart functionality
• Ability to close and return to the listing without page reload

Benefits:

• Improves user experience by reducing navigation friction
• Enables faster product browsing and comparison
• Helps keep users engaged on category pages
• Aligns EShop with standard UX expectations in modern eCommerce
• Potentially improves conversion rates

From a development perspective, this could likely reuse existing product layouts and load content dynamically (e.g. via AJAX), making it a relatively lightweight but high-impact feature.I believe this would be a valuable addition to EShop and beneficial for many users.Thanks for considering this suggestion.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. This is a great feature need to be added to EShop, I agree. Actually, I had plan to develop it. I will try to find a possible solution and implement it in the future version of EShop soon.
