Manufacturers depend on MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) to artificially inflate prices of their products so the customer has a perceived higher value of the manufacturers product.
Retailers / eCommerce on the other hand need ways to over come MAP when needing to liquidate old or excessive inventory, compete in soft markets, compete with competitors pricing, etc.
"Add to cart for price" is a common solution around this dilemma. Any chance to see this feature in the future? This feature should give the user the ability to label this button as they wish if they choose to use different wording like "View price in cart", etc.
