Show whole category menu

Is there a chance to show whole category menu. Now i need to click on a menu-item to show the sub-categories. It takes some extra seconds.

OR

Have a smooth category-menu, like a normal menu that quickly showing the sub-menu when clicking.

That is the way that category menu works now. The sub menu items are only shown after the parent menu item page loaded.
