Prevent user to involuntary exit checkout page was created by Jaakob
Hi, one of my client ask me if is possibile to activate a function to prevent user to involuntary exit checkout page using, for example, browser back button or a link in the template. It happens that user in one of steps press back button thinking to modify a previous step and come back to previous page, so he need to redo steps. I try using onbeforeunload functon in checkout page but I'm not able to exclude final submit button because is not a real button in the page, so I can excluse submittin. Any idea? Can this become a features?
Thank you for any suggestions

Hello Jaakob,
On title of each previous step, there is an Edit button to allow customer to edit an previous step that they want. Not sure that this is what you want to ask or not.
Sincerely, Giang

Thanks but not what I meant. I meant that happen to be for example in the step of payment choice and click the back button of the browser, so you return to the page from which you came and you lose what you have wrie and choose. It would be nice instead that appeared a message that tells you that you are leaving the page
