Joomla User Group Support

I maintain a site that has "members" and "non-member" user groups in Joomla. I would like EShop to translate these to customer groups so that I can offer different prices for each of the groups.

EShop supports customer groups and support different prices for different customer groups.

I created a "sync" program in php that maintains our membership user database with Joomla. I see the tables in mysql for EShop and since the pattern is similar but seperate for EShop I can simply "sync" the EShop customer database and give them the appropriate customer group through my existing update software.
