If I'm correct there's currently no way to create credit invoices.
In Europe consumers have a legal right to return products purchased online within 14 days after purchase. This means products are returned regularly. For this I would need to be able to create credit invoices. Same applies for invoices that are not payed or cancelled.
There should also be the option to create a credit invoice for selected item(s). Someone might buy multiple items but only send 1 item back.
This is also very important for a complete administration.

You are right, this is not supported now. I have been implementing the edit order function. Once it is complete, I think you can use it to have this feature.
