I understand that an icon and link to the EShop back end control panel can be added to the main back end Administration Control Panel by adding a plugin to work with mod_quickicon. Have you considered adding such a plugin (copy/edit one of the two quickicon plug-ins that come with Joomla) to allow users to quickly go to the EShop backend from the Administration Control Panel?
