Can Send Emails to Registrants by Category ?

}Hello,I am using Event Booking for Joomla and would like to know if it is possible to send email invitations or newsletters to users based on event categories.Our goal is to manage several member communities (clubs) and send targeted invitations only to people interested in a specific activity area.For example, we have categories such as:

• Young Theatre Club
• Nature & Outdoor Activities
• Prevention Programs

I would like to send a message to all members or participants associated with a specific category, without selecting recipients individually.Could you please let me know:

1. Is category-based emailing supported in Event Booking?
2. Can emails be sent to all registrants within a selected event category?
3. Is there any integration with Joomla User Groups that would allow category-based communication?
4. If this is not supported natively, what would you recommend as the best approach?

That's not supported, unfortunately. Also, as of right now, the mass mail feature send all emails at once, so if you want to send emails to registrants of all events from certain category, it won't be delivered properly because there could be many emails sent at a time and mail server could not handle that

A better approach would be use Events Booking together with a newsletter extension like ACYMailing. You configure Events Booking to assign registrants of each event to the mailing lists you want (in your case, events from same category will have same mailing list). Then use ACYMailing to send emails to all subscribers of that mailing list. That would work
