Built-in QRCODE scanner VS TICKET_QRCODE was created by Martijn Hartong
Hi Tuan,
Unfortunately last nights event could not make use of the built-in scanner. We should have done better testing, but still this seems strange:
The ticket scanner works (sets check-in active) with [QRCODE], but without popup and throws a json error. [TICKET_QRCODE] does not work and gives popup with Object xml error.
I have used PDF Ticket with the wrong* [QRCODE], but trying [TICKET_QRCODE] fails. What is the difference between those qr codes regarding eventbooking?
I created the copy of a hidden test event, changed to [TICKET_QRCODE] and scanned my registration with no success (see attached screenshot). What is causing this error?
Thanks,
Marty
PS; also the Plus app failed.

Hi
- There was a bug related to checkin registrants and it was fixed. Please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site and check in should work well
- You can use [TICKET_QRCODE] tag
Regards,
Tuan

Hi,
I installed the (alreaady installed) 5.9 update again and built-in scanner works. Has this fix been added to the 5.9 update later?
Thanks
