Switching languages results in 404

Hi!
We run our website with 2 languages (german as main language, plus english), and also have our events in these two languages.With the built-in language switcher of Joomla, you can switch back and forth between language versions of any article or menu items if they are linked. This also works very well with the eb event list. However, when trying to switch languages inside an event detail view, you get an 404 error.

If you switch languages from english to german -->  works
If you switch languages from german to english --> does not work

Why is that? How can this be fixed? Thanks!

Solved it by myself. I forgot to set a standard menu item for english in the SEF router tab/configuration. Now it works. Thanks anyway.
