PEPPOL requirements for Events and Memberships

Many countries (inc USA and Singapore) are starting to utilise PEPPOL for invoices as opposed to the traditional PDF. In some countries, Belgium for example, this will be a legal requiement in 2026 with most of Europe set to follow

Payment provider remains the same however STRIPE only handles the payment it will not be generating PEPPOL invoices, this is supposed to be hankded by the requesting system

Are there are any plans to include PEPPOL in EVent Booking and Membership Pro for invoice generation?

I have to check to see how it could be implemented. It is very likely that it will be a paid add-on, the same with this one docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/plug...nts-booking-einvoice which we developed for German customers

I think you nailed it, looks like almost the same thing. PEPPOL requires an XML packet be sent to an API, so i think its going to be very similar.

I will check it further later. The plugin I mentioned only generate and send an XML invoice (in additional to the PDF invoice) to admin and registrants, seem works well for German customers (few customers tried)

In case PEPPOL , seem it works in a different way. But I will look at it and try to figure out

I really hope Peppol can be added to the E-Invoice plugin. As mentioned, this will be mandatory in Belgium from January 1, 2026, and throughout the European Union from 2030.

Leave it to us. We will try our best to have it implemented before that time

I was wondering if the Peppol system has already been added to the e-invoicing plugin, in addition to the two profiles EN 16931 (COMFORT) and XRechnung.

Sorry, I haven't had time to look at it yet. I am afraid of I can only look at it by the end of this year
