Frontend submission restrict event access was created by Alison
Hi Tuan
We have a menu item, 'Submit Event' viewable to a particular user group called "South West Associations"
When a user goes to submit an event on the frontend using this menu we would like the default Access to be set to 'South West Associations'. (so that they cannot give it another access by mistake)
Is this possible?
Thanks

Hi Alison
Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at General tab, Other Settings section, set Default Access config option to the access level you want. That should work for your need

Thanks Tuan
This works, but it changes it for every new event (front end and back end submission).
Is there any way we can set this to front end only ?

No way to make it frontend only. If you need that, customize the code would be needed

OK thanks
I was hoping it was something we could set, like we can set a category if we want in the frontend.
But no worries, they will need to make sure they select the right category.

Sorry, this is a very special requirement which no-one-else ever needs, so we do not support that setting
If it is really needed, you can submit a support ticket. We will try to help implementing the override to make it works like that for you
