Labels missing in billing when running in Language mode was created by Alexander Krasovskiy
We have added multilanguage support on our Joomla website. For some reason when running in another language (ru-RU) the labels in Billing Information are not displayed. They are displayed for Payment Information, but not billing. See attached image

    Hi Alexander

    I believe the issue happens because your site is a multilingual website, but you haven't translated the content to your language. See docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/multilingual for instructions

    We are using EventBooking - not MembershipPro. I did try to translate the fields but they don't show up. I tried adding translation both to client and server options.

    I believe I have found the solution now - it is in the translation of Custom Fields...

    Still I think it is strange that I am forced to enter translations. By default, it should just pick up default English labels. If you see in the screenshot of first message, the labels for Payment Information section are displayed even though they don't have translations. But labels for Billing Information section are missing...I worked around it by duplicating English labels (because I don't want to translate Billing information for legal purposes), but it doesn't make sense.

    Hmm

    Unless I mis-understood your issue, you should not have to change Translation to change custom field

    As I said, you will need to go to Events Booking -> Custom Fields, click on each custom field to edit

    On custom field edit screen, you will see Translation tab and you can do the translation from there

    For each of the custom fields that are on the Billing - I have to edit, go to Translation tab and manually enter a value. Otherwise it is displayed blank on the entry screen. In my opinion, I shouldn't have to do this. It should display English label unless a value is entered for Translation.

    Yes, that's right. We cannot use data from default language. For Title of the field, that would be OK (for text fields), but for other field types (like Checkboxes, Radio, List...), you also needs to specify field values

    So to have it works well, you will need to do the translation
