Built-In QRCODE Scanner was created by PMI Switzerland
Hi,
I am trying to use the Built-in QRCODE Scanner. I have selected QR code scanner in a menu. The menu is working, scanner works. On the mobile, I have selected one of the phone camera and I can see the QR-CODE on the browser but nothing is happening.
Any clue what ca cause the issue?

Hmm

What tag you are using to scan the QRCODE ? Please make sure you are using [TICKET_QRCODE] tag

Also, if that does not work for certain mobile, could you please try to use a different mobile ?

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I use [QRCODE] tag and it worked on some mobile for some years now. Just on some mobiles, the camera opens a different browser thus leads to the scanner person thinks he doesn't have enough access-rights.
Can you expain what is the difference between [QRCODE] and [TICKET_QRCODE] ?

Hi

[QRCODE] tag will generate link to checkin registrants. Mean when that QRCODE is canned, it will redirect admin/managers to a link to process checkin. You can use any QRCODE scanner to scan that kind of QRCODE to checkin, not necessary to use the built-in QRCODE scanner. The built-in QRCODE scanner is developed for different purpose

[TICKET_QRCODE] will just generate a QRCODE contains string. It usually uses on Tickets PDF. When the built-in QRCODE scanner scan that QRCODE, it will get the registration code and submit that code to Events Booking using an API for checkin registrants.

So the two tags work in different way

Tuan
