I am about to update to joomla4 and want to uninstall Eventbooking before the update and then install it again afterwards. how do I do it?

See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/getting...stallation#uninstall for instructions. However, you should not have to uninstall before updating to Joomla 4. Better updating your site to latest version of Events Booking before updating to Joomla 4. Then everything will be fine
