What Joomla version you are using? And where you add location (from frontend or backend) ? It should still be possible to search for location from location dropdown (haven't checked from frontend again but at least it should work for backend)
The website I'm setting up will be a site where all registered users will be able to post events. It would be useful if from the frontend the user can search among more than 1800 locations before creating a new one, with the dropdown he never finishes searching, he first creates a new one thus creating infinite duplicates. I am now using jevents but would like to change
It should be possible for searching for locations when submit event, too. If you can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to that page, I will be happy to take a look
