Group Registration questions

Hi, we stopped using Group Registration because we need the Group Manager to put unique email addresses in for each person they register. On average, they do not.

1. Is there anyway to force a unique email for Group Registration?
2. Can a person that is registered through Group Registration be turned into a user?
3. And also, if we use Group registration, then how can we track the history of events for a person registered through a group reg?

1. We do not have an option to force unique email address for or create user account for each group member at the moment

3. I believe you can still search for registration records of that person base on his email address or name to see their registration history. Not sure if it works for your need ?

I, too, am interested in having a group registration be able to, at minimum, break-out the registrants (member information) so that registration confirmation and reminder emails can be sent to them.  This is especially important since the person initiating the group registration and paying may not be someone actually attending the event.  Thus, any critical, event-related messaging (like venue change, adjusted hours, things to bring, etc) would not reach the actual attendees in the group.  *Please advise if there is a way to do this other than manually harvesting emails from the group registration data and building an email list.

1. You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Send Confirmation Email To All Group Members config option to Yes and group members will also receive email when someone performs a group registration

2. For reminder emails, the system sends it to group members, too. Unless you have Send to group members parameter in Events Booking - Reminder plugin set to No

So the issues/requirements you are talking about should be handled by the extension already
