How to install language packages

When I purchaged this eventbooking extention, then I also received alot of language packages. How do I use these files.
I have uploaded then one that I want to use in the joomla Install, but can not find the place where to change the language. I can probably change each word in the translate menu, but I guess that is not the purpurse with the language files.

1. To install a language package, please go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install to install it

2. Then you need to configure your site to use that language, too (hope you are already installed install the language for your site). Go to Extensions -> Languages -> Installed, set the language you want to use to be default language of your site.

3. Further more, you also need to translate other things to have it works with your none-english language. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...nglish-language-file for detailed information

this was just what I needed. I managed to change the language on the calendar.

Hi, I have the same problem. I just did what you said but In INSTALLED LANGUAGES there is only English, it doesn't appear the one I just installed from the package.

In this case, please submit a support ticket sending us:

1. Super admin account of your site

2. Tell us the language package which you want to install

We are going to check and install the language package for you
