Multiple prices for same event was created by JiGe.be
Hi
I'm facing an issue, and no thread is helping me...

I'm trying to setup an event with 3 different prices, as for instance :
- Normal price : 600 euros
- Student : 400 euros
- Accompanying person(s) : 300 euros (for each accompanying person)

How can I do this with EventBooking ?

Moreover, the prices should change for early registrants... but as I have only one event to manage, I can change the price manually on the date defined.

Thanks in advance for helping me.

Kind regards.

Hi

The possible solution is using custom field as described in this forum post :

joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_ku...atid=62&id=8943#8948

Please have a look at it and let me know if you have other questions .

Regards,

Tuan

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
I'm trying to set up the module as described, but it doesn't work...yet :)

Here is what I made :

1. I inserted a radio button in the registration form (field name : eb_isstudent, set as fee field with the correct values 500 or 700), to know wether the main registrant is a student or not. This choice should set the event price to 500 or 700 euros.

2. I inserted a text box in the registration form (field name : eb_number_accompanyingperson), to know how many accompanying person should be registered. The fee formula for this field is : [FIELD_VALUE]*300

3. The total registration price should then be something like : eb_isstudent +( eb_number_accompanyingperson*300)

How can I make this set up ?

Moreover, I'm trying to set up the early birds rates, which is a 100 euros discount for each registrant (or accompanying person)

I inserted a 100 euros discount in the event discount tab, but it's only applied as one 100 euros discount on the total amount, ans is not multiplied bu the number of registrants. How can I do that ?

Here is an example of registration confirmation :

Number of accompanying persons 5
Student no
Total amount €2,800.00(including €2,200.00 extra fee)
Discount €100.00
Amount €2,700.00

I absolutely don't know what is the 2200 euro extra fee and where it comes from ?

I can send you URL if needed

Thanks in advance.

I am trying to do the same thing and thought to solve my problem I could create coupons and put this in the description:

Pricing: 1 class/week for 8 weeks = $95

2 classes/week for 8 weeks = $150

3 classes/week for 8 weeks = $200

**Please note: To pay $95 for 1 class/week ENTER COUPON CODE: SF1X at registration

To pay $150 for 2 classes/week ENTER COUPON CODE: SF2X at registration

Otherwise you will be charged the $200 for 3 classes/week

For some reason my coupon is saying not a valid coupon code? Not sure what I'm doing wrong there??? Can you leave the coupon field "Times" set to zero for unlimited? Do I have to set a start and end time for the coupon offering if it is an ongoing offer?

Help please! :)
