German language files

Joomla 1.6.3 / EB 1.3.3 : Fehler bei der Sprachen-Installation!

Then I've uploaded admin and module .ini by FTP, but they're not used.

Is there any way of language files have to be registered by Joomla? Is this a Joomla 1.5 package only?
Any hints will be much appreciated.

Liegt daran das ich überlesen habe das Eventbooking auch mit J 1.6 läuft und darum hab ich den installer nur für J1.5 gemacht. Werde das heute Abend ändern so das das Paket auch bei J1.6 installiert werden kann.

Thanks for your report . I just updated the language file in download package and It works fine now . Infact, the language item is there, but it has an extra space in it and doesn't work :

It was : EB_FRIEND_NAMES ="Your friend names" (note the extra space before = character)

And must be changed to EB_FRIEND_NAMES="Your friend names"

Hi,

as I have not recognized that Event Booking is alos for Joomla 1.6 till yesterday, my translations were only for Joomla 1.5.
But now, I´ve changed the translations to work with Joomla 1.5 as well as with Joomla 1.6.

During this work, I found some issues with the language strings in Event Booking for Joomla 1.6. Please change it in both versions and tell me how you have changed it, so I can use the correct strings in the German translations

These strings aren´t working (Menu):

EVENT_BOOKING
CUSTOM_FIELDS
PAYMENT_PLUGINS
EXPORT_REGISTRANTS

These strings aren´t compatible with Joomla 1.6 language strings

IF_SET_TO_YES,_EWAY_WILL_CHECK_THE_VALID_OF_CARD_CVV_CODE
ENTER_YOUR_AUTHORIZE.NET_API_LOGIN
AUTHORIZE.NET_MODE

I'm not shure, if I understand what's going on here... I pay for a component - okay. Now, this component has the problem, that the language is english. The point is: If I want to have the german translation - and that will be my question - I must pay once again? Should this be so, I will translate the component and offered it as a free download.

So... did I understand correctly, that the translation also costs something?

In german/ In Deutsch und deutlicher:

Ich habe also für die Komponente bezahlt und soll nun auch noch für die Sprachdatei bezahlen? Sollte es so sein, werde ich meine Form von Protest folgendermaßen klar machen: Ich werde die Komponente selbst übersetzen und die Sprachdatei - selbstverständlich kostenlos - hier - oder verlinkt auf unserer Homepage zum freien Download anbieten. Aus diesen Dingen auch noch Profit zu schlagen, ist zwar typisch für die heutige Bezahl-Gesellschaft aber alles mitmachen muss man nun auch nicht...

Also: Sagt mir, dass ich für die deutsche Sprachdatei nichts zahlen muss, dass ich da also etwas völlig falsch verstanden habe...

I believe Nobs offer the language package for free. Did you check the link he gave here (I don't know German, so I could not find it on his site) .

@Nobs : Could you please send directly link so that other users can download it ?

I checked it... I must have a membership, before I can download the german language-pack. The memberschip costs 11,- EURO. Here two pics... "Mitgliedschaft" means "Membership":
