Rename Default Fields was created by derickson
Is there a way to rename the default field name a customer sees? I just need to change the "First Name" field to "Billing First Name"

Hi David

It is simple . You can simply go to Event Booking -> Translation, find the text "First Name" and change it to "Billing First Name"

I am making the change but they are not saving. Maybe it is due to the fact that I am using the new fields.php file? to show custom field description.

There might be a permission issue with your language file. You can open the file language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini to edit it manually (or change permission to 777 in order to edit it from backend) .

Could you edit the language file manually ? Please see my comment in above post :

You can open the file language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini to edit it manually

Yes, I can edit it manually. But not thought the control panel, event after chmod to 777.
