Custom Fee Field for add'l donations?

Hello,

We are using Events Booking for a nonprofit fundraising event which costs money to attend. However, some people who are attending would actually like to pay extra as a way to donate to the organization.

I have added the textbox field "Additional donation amount?", and entered [FIELD_VALUE] in the Fee Formula box. However, this does not add the amount the user has entered into the total. How do I go about achieving this?

Did you set Fee Field property of the field to Yes ?
