Translation Not Saving

I am having a problem using the translation tab/page.

When I try to change "State" to "Province" and click the 'Save & Close' button I get sent to the back end Control Panel, and the change has not been changed.

As an alternative strategy, I tried creating a new item and also get sent to the Control Panel after clicking the 'New Item' button.

I also encounter this behavior/problem when I try to select "overrides" from the 'Select language' drop-down box in the top left corner.

Using:
- Joomla 1.6
- Event Booking 1.3.3
- Integrated with Community Builder

I appreciate any help / suggestions

Hi

There is some change in language file format of Joomla 1.6 and It causes this problem . For now, could you please do the translation by editing language file directly ? The language file is located at language/en-GB/en-GB.com_eventbooking.ini .

I will fix the issue with the translation soon (before the end of this week) .

Your fix worked. Thank you for the prompt reply. Very much appreciated.

Question: how will the translation fix (and all other updates) be sent to users?

In my case, my company hired a designer setup our base Joomla install and he purchased and installed Events Booking, but I have no order history or registration number

You can submit a support ticket let me know Paypal transaction ID of your purchase . I will check order and assign it to your account so that you can get future releases for free .
