Change Default Month? was created by marcodeluca
Right now the calendar defaults to the current month. I kind of expected to be able to set the default month in the menu params. Is there anyway to set the default month? For example, I am promoting events this month ( may ) for a series of events next month, in june.
Opening the calendar up to this month is kind of silly as it's just a blank page. Am I missing an option somewhere or does this get added to the wish list?

Hi
Right now, the extension doesn't allow you to choose the default month for the calendar. There is a simple way to get what you need :
Create an external menu item, type External Link . In the next screen, please enter URL of the menu item as follow :
index.php?option=com_eventbooking&view=calendar&month=MONTH_YOU_WANT
For example, index.php?option=com_eventbooking&view=calendar&month=6 . It will set the default month to 6 .
Hope this help !
Regards,
Tuan

Update : This feature is now added to latest version of the extension. When you create menu item to link to calendar view of the extension, you can choose the month , year you want to display events from !

I have the latest version and every time I change the default month field in the calendar view menu item, it defaults to current year and current moth - is there a newer version that fixes this? I have version 3.1.1
Thank you!
