Test mode - what does it do?

I see a "test mode" switch but no explaination. What does it do?

Is there a way to test the entire registration process, including what happens after one registers using Paypal, from begin to end before going live?

Hi Gilles

In general, TEST MODE allows you test the whole registration process using TEST ACCOUNT (For example, Test Paypal account in case you use Paypal) without actuall process Payment . Everything works like how it is in live mode except that you don't have to process a REAL payment, just TEST !
