Up-coming events of a category

Hi, I want to display the dates from the next up-coming events only of a category in a Joomla article.

Is that possible?

Yes. It is possible. The up-coming events module have a parameter called Categories which allows you to display events from these categories . For example, if you want to display all events from category with ID = 5, just enter 5 into Categories parameter in the module

Joomla 1.5 has a plugin called Content - Load Module which allows you to load any modules into an article. Here is the description of the plugin :

Loads Module positions within Content, Syntax: {loadposition user1}

So basically, you can load the up-coming events of a category into article using the guide below :

1. Assign the module to a module position in your template, for example, assign it to use 1 position

2. Edit the article, enter {loadposition user1} into the place where you want the module to be loaded .
