Error 500 DateTimeZone on registrants

Hello,

I get an error 500 when I click on "Registrants" in the Joomla backend:
DateTimeZone::__construct() [datetimezone.--construct]: Unknown or bad timezone (0)

But I can export the registrants and also see and edit the registrants list in the front end.
Perhaps somebody can help me with this problem?

Time zone in the Joomla global settings is Europe/Berlin
PHP version: 5.2.17
Joomla version: 1.6.3

Download and install the latest version from Customer area.

I already had version 1.3.3 installed, but perhaps something else went wrong.
