Hi there,

I seem to be having trouble configuring the event booking component to skip the billing page on a group registration for a free event. It's weird because the work flow works fine for an individual registration, which goes as follows:

Register (Individual) > Individual Registration page > [EVENT_TITLE] Registration Confirmation page

But for the group registration, it slips the billing info page in despite being a free event. The work flow goes as follows:

Register (Group) > Group Registration (enter # of registrants) > Group Registration: Member [ATTENDER_NUMBER] information > Group Registration: Billing Information > Group Registration Confirmation

Having the Group Registration: Billing Information page seems redundant and a little confusing for our event. I tried turning off all of the required fields in both the 'Billing fields' and 'Group Member Fields', but this did not solve the problem.

Any thoughts on how I can configure my event to skip the billing page and go straight from member information to the confirmation page? Thanks

Here goes a new customer's first post...

This issue is crucial to us also. We allow only couples to book (group of 2), and our events are free. So a solution how to get rid of the billing form would be very welcome.

Hi

Please give me some more time to think about how to solve this issues . The billing information not only used to process payment but also used to collect information of the person who register for the group (managing purpose, the record is showed from back-end). Maybe in case of free events, we can use the first person in the group as the "manager" of this group ?

I would also welcome a solution like this, although would making the last person the group manager and simply subtract the entered # of attending list by 1?

This way for example would work if the users choose a group of 2 we then show just one attending member screen and then the billing screen, as this would then give us the ability to get the correct amount of screens and also help with the exported file?

Great component BTW!!

Hello,

I would also like to know if there's a solution yet, because we also offer free events and it's very confusing for the customer to have to enter their billing information for a free event

Hi

Right now, the feature is not available in the extension. I will try to adding support for it ASAP. However, to be honest, you will have to wait atleast 3 weeks to have the feature ready .

Regards,

Tuan

I too am looking for the same solution, as almost all our events will be free, as people are already complaining about the extra duplicated info, and we just started using it.
It seems this issue has been going on for quite a while. has there been any progress on the date to resolve this yet?

Thanks
