PayPal payment doesn't work

Hi,

For some time now, payments via PayPal have been failing, with a message stating that PayPal is not available.
Despite this, the registration is successfully processed and the applicant receives a message confirming this. He is therefore convinced that his registration is valid, when in fact it should be in ‘pending’ status.
What could be causing this error, and how can I fix it? For the time being, I have disabled this payment plugin.

Usually, it could cause by the PayPal account you are using. The question is does the issue always happens? Or it just happens with some registrations ?

The issue happens allways. I'm waiting for a reply from PayPal.
Perhaps my client has changed the email address she uses to access PayPal; I’m waiting for her reply.

Could be. Or the client entered wrong PayPal email. Note that PayPal email can be entered in different places :

- Inside event (take highest priority)
- Inside category (next priority)
- Inside payment plugin (lowest priority)

So if she entered wrong PayPal account inside the event, the error would happens (even if the PayPal email in payment plugin is correct)

My client has indeed changed her PayPal address because the previous provider was experiencing prolonged downtime.
I’ll correct this address and give it a go.

At the moment, even though the PayPal address has been changed, the block is still in place.

Make the the PayPal Email address is valid. You can submit a support ticket and we can give you our PayPal account so that you can try to switch on to test. Then we will see if it causes by the client PayPal account or something else

I set my own PayPal address on an event and I accessed to PayPal
I then re-entered my client’s details, and the error reappeared.
My client is going to check with PayPal to see what can be done.
