PHP GD Problem

EDIT: This can be disregarded. A fix just came out that works.

Hello,

I'm using Cloud Linux and there was an update on Sept 29 that made the GD library unavailable.

When trying to edit existing events with images or adding a new event with an image, I get this error on save and the event is not saved:
danger
The GD extension for PHP is not available.

Is there any workaround for this or possibility to disable GD while we wait for a fix?

Hi Kaitie

In Joomla, we requires GD library to resize image. Without that library, image could not be resized. There is no workaround
