Home image folder changed in version 5.8.0

The home folder used to be the Joomla images folder. Now there is a new home folder - com_eventbooking - in my public root directory. Is there a way to change this? I prefer to keep all the images in the Joolma images folder (and sub-folders).

It is not Events Booking change the home folder of the images. It's always images/com_eventbooking but you can always navigate to home images folder

From my experience, you are using JCE and this behavior is controlled by JCE (JCE replaces default Joomla media manager by it own media browser for media form field). You should contact JCE support and ask them about it

I should have provided more detail. If I create a new event and click the Event Detail >> image >> Select, the home (top level) folder is images/com_eventbooking. After clicking Save, then clicking Event Detail >> Image >> Select, then the Home folder is images, and I can navigate to all the usual folders.

The JCE editor works as expected with the folder images as the Home folder.

This occurs with Joomla 5.4.8 and Event Booking 5.10.0

I believe the behavior causes by the changes from JCE, not something from Joomla or Events Booking. From what I understand, you can get the attached file, and upload it to administrator\components\com_eventbooking\forms folder on your site and it will work as you want
