Search events by Zip Code and radius

Hello, 

I would like to know if it is possible to parametrer the search module bar with search events by "zip code" and radius, instead of by "location name" and radius.
It is not in the search module settings, but maybe there is a possibilitie to achieve that ? With Openstreetmap or Google maps API ?

Hi Lionel

We do not have that option available. If you want to be able to search by zip code, customization to the search module and the search logic will need to be implemented

thank you for your answer.

Would it be possible to search not from Zip codes that are created by organizers, but from every Zip Code for every cities, I have a dataset with the 6300 Zip Codes in my country and the associated latitude and longitude coordinates.

I don't know if that simplifies or complicates the modifications ?

Having the zip code database will help the modification not simpler because we still have to deal with the case zip code not available in the database

And to be more clear, the current search feature is not searching by location name and radius, but searching by address
