Ticket Types Translation and other issues was created by Ulrike Anton
Hi there,

1. Is there a way to implement translation options for ticket types (inlcuding ticket type description)?

2. On the frontend, switching languages doesnt work on the Ticket Type page. For example, when I am on the german version of a ticket type page and change to the english version, I get redirected to the english event overview instead of the ticket type page of the specific event. Can this be fixed?

3. I am also using the Mini calendar module. For example, when I am browsing to an specific event in October, the event detail is displayed correctly, however the mini calendar switches back to the current month. In my understanding I is logical that the mini calender stays in October instead of getting resetted to the current month. Is this  function implementable?

I provided a link on the private tab for testing. Please understand that I am not allowed to provide an admin login :/

Thank you!

Hello

1. It should be possible. If your site is a multilingual website, you can access to Events Booking, then Setup -> Ticket Types, click on each ticket type to edit and translate it on ticket type edit screen

2. What's the ticket type page you are talking about? We do not have a specific page for ticket type. Maybe you are talking about registration form ?

3. The system does not remember the selected month from last access at the moment. Will think more about it and might add support for it in the future

Regards,

Tuan

1. Found it, thanks!

2. Yes, exactly. The page with the registration form and ticket type selection. From there, if you want to change language, you will get directed to the translated event list instead of the translated specific event registration. Can this be fixed?

3. Great to hear, thanks.

2. It is quite hard, so I'm unsure it could be sorted. But I will give it a try

I'm unsure if this happens in real life. I mean if someone is already on registration form of an event in a language, it's rarely they would switch to other language

Okay, great to hear, thanks.

Well, after we experienced a case of a user who was really confused because he wanted to switch languages during registration (he sent an complaint afterwards), my bosses think it would probably be better to get rid of this problem.
So, thank you for giving it a try! Best, C
