maximize number of registrants

Hi Tuan,

I want to limit the number of registrants for an event and know it's possible with the use of ticket-types. Disadvantage is, it does not work with the shoppingcart.
Is there another way to achieve this goal?

You actually does not need to use ticket types to limit number of registrants for your event. You just need to set Capacity of the event to the the number you want and number of registrants for the event will be limited to that value

I do not mean the total maximum number of participants for the event, but that each person can reserve a maximum of 2 tickets.

Ah, OK. There is no real solution or limitation for that at the moment. However, you can try this workaround: Edit the event, set Max Number Of Registrants For Group Registration to 2, then try to see if it helps ?

Maybe you configured Events Booking to hide these fields on add/edit event form. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Backend Submit Event Form tab, make sure the two config options below set to Yes and the fields will be available:

- Show Min Number Of Registrants For Group Registration
- Show Max Number Of Registrants For Group Registration
