Default Events Registration Status

Is it possible to set the Default Events Registration Status also for paid events? I know it's possible for Free Events.

No, it is not possible. For paid events, when users register and pay for registration, the status of the registration record needs to be Paid, otherwise, that registration won't be counted as valid registration and it will cause over booking

In short, for paid registration, the registration status could not be configured. It must be paid
