Featured Column in Events Listing page

What would be the recommended way to add a featured column on /administrator/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&view=events page?

Modify the layout administrator/components/com_eventbooking/view/events/tmpl/default.php . Once the change is done, please move modified file to template override so that the change won't be lost when you update to future releases of the extension
