Register for Event (Anmelden) Button broken > links to startpage

Hi
we just have updated the component to the latest version 5.6.0 , and it seems the Button to register for an event is broken.
Live URL: www.citizen-science.at/events

If you click "Anmelden" in the categoy view or also in the deail view, it just goes to the start page in a new window, and the a href link there is the website's domain.
What can be the issue there?

Must be something special on the site causes the issue. Please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site and tell us what we need to do to see the error

Just want to update that this is not an issue with Events Booking. It is just a wrong setup on the site (Jonathan entered URL of the site into Custom Registration Handle URL parameter of the event, so that URL is used instead of URL generated by Events Booking)

I just edited the event, removed the URL and the issue is gone
