Automatic EB user integration as a Joomla user? was created by Guenter Kleisch
When a guest books an EB-Event, they are not automatically created as a Joomla user.
How can I enable this feature?
Thanks!
Best regards, Günter

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set User Registration Integration config option to Yes
Then when user register for your event, they can register for a user account at the same time

Dear Tuan!
I've noticed that older guests, in particular, often find the registration process overwhelming and then prefer not to book tickets.
With the component seminar-manager.ch/en/functions , the booking is immediately imported as a Joomla user.
My main concern is this:
I'd like to use the "RSMail" newsletter in the future.
I'd like the EB users to be automatically imported into RSMail.
I've already activated the "Newsletter Sign-up" option in the reservation form.
What's the best way to achieve this?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Günter

Hi Günter
- If the booking auto make Joomla user, I wonder what should be username and password of the account?
- For RS Mail, we do not support it. Maybe you can use ACYMailing instead? We integrate with ACYMailing to assign registrants of your events to selected mailing lists, then you can use ACYMailing to send emails to your registrants ?

I'm afraid I don't know how that was technically implemented.
Here's the link to the seminar manager.
extensions.joomla.org/extension/osg-seminar-manager-pro/
demo.seminar-manager.ch/
seminar-manager.ch/de-de/anleitung-dokumentation
I'd like to point out that EB is much better suited to our needs – it has more features, such as a shopping cart and QR code entry.
Together we will take EB to the next level
Thanks!

You do not know technical details. I just want to know when user account is created like that, what is the username of the account? Since no password entered, I guess it will be random. Just do not know about username. Maybe it uses email ?

The user account is created in Joomla during the booking process.
He had to activate the account himself via an email link. I believe he was only asked for the password after that.

Thanks. You still haven't provided enough information (is it using email as username for the Joomla account?) but I will think more about it. If there are more customers request for the option, I will try to bring support for it in the future
