Change participants in free events was created by Patrick DELVA
HI Tuan,
I come back to topic #175613 in point 2.
I need the logged users to have the possibility to modify the number of participants in a free registration.
I have, as you answered, did a menu item to link to Registration History.
I did set “Allowed” in Events Booking -> Configuration -> Options for “Front-end Registrants Management” for registered users….anyway I am SU, so there is not the problem.
When I go to (via menu) to Registration History, I see a list of my registered events, select one of my subscribed events, he opens a new window and give me the event….that’s not what I need.
When I create a new menu pointed to “Manage Registrants” and open via menu, select a subscribed event, Click on Edit button, I see the form of my inscription…with all the data, Event, User, Email, State…..I can all that modify, but not “Date registered” and “Number of registrants”
Did I forgot something? Alternatively, what is wrong?
Looking around on internet, I found many explications but I did it right.
The only thing I did not found was:
Create a new Menu Item in your Joomla menu, select the Events Booking -> My Submitted Events view (or similar "My Events" view for logged-in users), “ maybe an old version…
In Configuration -> Themes-> Registrants Management -> Allow Changing Number Registrants
I have YES
Thanks for your help
Patrick

Hi Patrick
Set Allow Changing Number Registrants config option to Yes. Then you should be able to edit registration record and change Number Registrants from Registrants Management backend. Currently, it is not possible in the frontend yet. I will try to support that in the future
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Thanks for your quick replay.
So that means that for a sport club that have a free event, the members can subscribe to participate the training.
However, when the sport club organise a dinner or drink where the family or friends is invited our members can NOT mention how many participants will come to the event.
That is a BIG problem for the club to organise the event, we need to know how many persons comes in advance to the event, to order the meals or drinks.
You write; “Set Allow Changing Number Registrants config option to Yes. Then you should be able to edit registration record and change Number Registrants from Registrants Management backend.”
As I said in my topic…I have “Allow Changing Number Registrants” in Configuration ->Themes-> Registrants Management set to YES.
But even in backend I can’t change the number of participants in Events Booking->Registrants->Registrants Manager.Registrants . Secected it and click on Edit.
> It is greyed out see attachment.
Where do you do that ?
Your answer; “Currently, it is not possible in the frontend yet. I will try to support that in the future”
I do not want to rush you, but do you have an idea when I can use this option?
I (or other users of your Event Booking module) need this option.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick
From backend, it should be possible. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site so that I can check to see why it is not possible like in your screenshot?
