Update 5.3.0 Event Slider module no longer working

Hi,
The Event Slider module is not displaying categories, and when we save it, this error message appears in the backend administration: htmlspecialchars(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given.
We are using the latest version of Event Booking: 5.3.0
But the module version is still: 3.12.3 ?
Joomla 5.4.0
PHP 8.2.28
Can you help us resolve this issue quickly?Thank you in advance.

Finally, while testing a new installation on another site, I noticed that the Events Slider module no longer exists in version EB 5.3.0!
So I used the Advanced Events Slider module, which seems to do the job.
I think the problem is solved.

It has 4 extensions that have not been updated:
Events Booking - Events Slider Module 3.12.3
Events Booking - Jomsocial Activities Plugin 3.17.5
Events Booking - View Module 3.17.5
Events Booking - Zoom Plugin 4.4.2
should we delete them?

Yes. These are the old plugins and can be un-installed:

- Events Booking - Events Slider Module is replaced by better Events Booking - Advanced Events Slider
- Events Booking - Jomsocial Activities Plugin was removed without replacement
- Events Booking - Zoom Plugin is replaced by Events Booking - Zoom App
- Events Booking - View Module is replaced by Events Booking - Easy View
