Changing Single Event to Recurring Event after Front End Submission

When I or a member of the public add their event in the front, sometimes it needs edited later by site admin to a recurring event but the option to do this is not there.

It would be great to be able to edit the single event to a recurring event at any stage, like you can do when adding the original event via the back end.

 Can it easily be made available?

As of right now, it is not possible. There are difficulty with changing a standard event to be a recurring event.
