VAT number field not shown on registration form

Hi,

I have made the set up for EB to oganise some paid events. I have created a VAT field and configured the EU Tax Rule tab to associate the field with the VAT Number Field. 

Once I have done this, I notice that the VAT field on the registration form disappear. 

I would need to display the VAT field for companies and still keep this field marked as VAT for accountancy purposes. May I ask to better understand the logic of this part?
